UK and Israel join forces to tackle cyber attacks on national infrastructures
During a visit to Israel last week, UK Cabinet Office minister Matthew Hancock announced that the United Kingdom and Israel will deepen co-operation to tackle cyber attacks on their national infrastructure installations.
Hancock has visited Israel at a time of growing co-operation between the two Governments designed to tackle digital challenges. Both the UK and Israel are founding members of D5, a dedicated forum of five digitally-advanced Governments established in 2014.
In recent years, the two nations have focused special attention on the challenge of defending public and private infrastructure systems against cyber attack.
