Government commits to cutting further £10 billion of red tape in bid to benefit business community’s development
Comprehensive measures that will help deliver the Government’s commitment to cut a further £10 billion of red tape for companies have just been unveiled at the British Chambers of Commerce Annual Conference in central London by Business Secretary Sajid Javid.
According to the World Economic Forum, the UK already has the lowest burden of regulation in the G7.
“This Government is delivering on its commitment to free firms from £10 billion worth of heavy-handed over-regulation and build a more productive Britain,” urged Sajid Javid. “Hundreds of businesses responded to our Cutting Red Tape reviews, and we’re now taking decisive action based on the experiences and views shared.”
